Dr. Vicki Belo can think of only one reason for seeing her ex-boyfriend Hayden Kho, Jr. recently despite her promise to stay away: She misses him like crazy.

“There’s such a thing as people addiction pala. [When that person is away], you want to touch him, to smell him...

“But it was a moment of weakness. I’ve gone back to my resolution not to see him [Hayden]. Parang diet na nasira—balik ka ulit sa simula,” said the celebrated beauty doctor in an interview held February 24.

It is recalled that just last month, Belo announced to the media that she and Hayden promised not to see or even contact each other. She said she is severing all forms of communication with the embattled doctor until May 20, Kho’s birthday.

“No texting, no calling, no seeing, zero anything,” Belo said on “Startalk”.

“We will meet other people, we will date other people, we will talk to other people, but we will not say boyfriend ko na ‘to or girlfriend na niya ‘to until May 20 para naman may respeto sa isa’t isa,” she added.

Only a few weeks ago, Manila Bulletin Entertainment Online reported the sighting of Belo and Kho together at the club, Encore, formerly known as Embassy.

Yesterday, February 23, Belo was again seen with Kho during his arraignment.

“Pero ‘di naman kami nag-usap masyado!” she emphasized. “In fact, I was planning to sit in the back and not talk to him at all na parang fan lang niya ako kunyari. Sasaglit lang ako, kumbaga.

“But then I saw him and I said to myself, ‘Shucks! Ang gwapo pa din niya...’”

Vicki said that it was her and Hayden’s lawyer, Atty. Lorna Kapunan, who suggested that the doctor give her ex “moral support” by seeing him. And since Vicki wanted to check how far she has moved on from their romantic relationship, she gave it a “try.”

“I’m the one who broke the promise that’s why I feel bad. But he looked happy naman to see me... I think I made him feel better,” she said.

And so is she. Vicki admits that since February 23, “Tawa ako ng tawa...prior to that kasi, parang naging boring ang buhay...parang walang meaning kasi walang kilig.”

Is she planning to see Hayden again?

“No. Besides, he’s out of town—in Bukdinon or Mindanao. Somewhere out there.”

Vicki denied that she and Hayden had seen each other prior to his arraignment. She adamantly denied that he was her date last Valentine’s Day.

“How could that be when I was at a retreat in Arizona [USA]?”

Asked what kind of relationship she has with Hayden now, Vicki said it’s mere friendship.

“He’s on ‘probation’ sa akin. He has to prove himself to me all over again. Nagbago kasi si Hayden from when I met him, but I think he’s on his way back to his true self...” she said.

During the interview, Vicki also presented to the media her new endorsers, actresses Jennylyn Mercado and Valerie Concepcion.

Both mothers, Jennylyn and Valerie have undergone non-invasive body contouring sessions with Novashape, which the clinic offers.
