The limited-edition My Pilipinas Moleskine
The limited-edition My Pilipinas Moleskine

In case you’re wondering, yes, I do keep a diary. It’s where I write my goals, dreams, and life’s adventures (or, as is often the case, lack thereof). Although, I’ve haven’t gotten into updating my diary on a daily basis, it has been very useful in helping me remember events and random, silly things I’ve done in the past and list of things to do today, tomorrow, the month, and before I die (i.e. see Paul McCartney live! Universe are you listening?). And, just like a good friend or therapist, you can tell her your deepest, darkest secrets and insecurities without holding back and in codes only you can understand, just in case somebody gets around to reading it.

For anyone out there who wants to start keeping a journal, the legendary Moleskine notebook has recently collaborated with retail giant National Bookstore and Collezione-C2 for a limited-edition jotter. Considered the best of its kind, Moleskine has been identified with imagination, wisdom, and personal identity for centuries, having been the favored notebook of such historical greats as painters Vincent Van Gogh and Pablo Picasso, writers Andre Breton and Ernest Hemingway, as well as novelist and travel writer Bruce Chatwin, who was said to have stocked up on Moleskine notebooks for his every trip.

The limited-edition My Pilipinas Moleskine features the iconic Philippine archipelago, that has been made fashionably famous by Collezione-C2 and its creative director, fashion designer, Rhett Eala. As with all Moleskine products, the My Pilipinas edition is thread-bound and features an environment-friendly, acid-free paper. It also comes in large and pocket-sizes, making it a consummate companion to chronicling your life’s journeys and, if new to this whole diary business, get you started in writing, as the BBC put it, probably the only book you will ever write.

My Pilipinas Moleskine is available exclusively at selected National Bookstore and Collezione-C2 branches. Follow National Bookstore on Facebook and Twitter for more information and exclusive offers.
