Games Saturday (Ynares Sports Arena)
2 p.m. — Cobra Energy Drink vs Cossack Blue
4 p.m. — Pharex B-Complex vs Ascof Lagundi

Just how hot is the rivalry between sister teams Cobra Energy Drink and Cossack Blue will be known Saturday when they dispute the early lead in the 2010 PBL PG Flex-Erase Placenta Cup at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig City.

The two teams owned by Asia Brewery are joined by idle Excelroof in a three-way logjam for first place with identical 2-0 records. But the Ironmen and the Spirits will have to cancel each other when they meet in the opener at 2 p.m.

It will be the first of two scheduled games that will feature the battle between sister clubs. Pascual Laboratories-owned squads Ascof Lagundi and Pharex B-Complex clash in the second game at 4 p.m.

The Ironmen are hoping to perform better this time around after scoring similar comeback wins against AddMix and Pharex B, respectively.

And for them to win, coach Lawrence Chongson said they have to execute their game plan smartly and hope that Paul Lee will put on another big show like what he did during their first two games.

Lee is making a case for himself as the league's best player of the conference averaging 24.5 points, 9.5 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 2.0 steals.
