Kris takes sabbatical from SNN, plans MJ party for Baby James

It’s more than a month from now but TV host Kris Aquino is already immersed in planning her son Baby James’ birthday party.
Baby James was born April 19 and Kris is out to fulfill his dreams of a Michael Jackson party.
“Tinanong ko siya kung ano ang gusto niyang party, kung Time Zone or Michael Jackson. Michael Jackson party daw. So, meron mga tatlong dance groups na napanood sa 'Pilipinas Got Talent' na sasayaw na lang para sa kanya, para super happy na siya,” Kris shared in a taped interview in Showbiz News Ngayon February 26.
Baby James or Bimby showed great fascination to the Gloved One when he saw him on TV. He mimmicks Jacko’s dance steps very well including his moonwalk, much to the amusement of Kris and James Yap.
In one event, Baby James even showed up in a complete MJ outfit. At the drop of a hat, Kris’ son dances ala Michael Jackson, much to the delight of his “fans.”
Actually, Kris can very well afford to plan Baby James’ party now that she has taken a sabbatical from hosting chores for SNN.
The announcement came from Kris herself via her Twitter account. “Wanted you to hear it from me. I’m taking a leave of absence from SNN until elections. My bathroom fall proved to me I just can’t handle.”
Last week, Kris fell and hit her head while taking a bath and was rushed to the hospital by husband James. She complained of dizziness, an offshoot of her bad fall.
She was advised by her doctors to rest until Wednesday when all tests on her are completed. Kris had cerebral and inner ear concussions.
The doting mother is also excited over Baby James’ debut in her soap “Kung Tayo’y Magkakalayo.” As Kris reported some months ago, her son will play an important part in her nightly soap opera.
But as it is, Baby James’ fans will have to wait as the new kid on the acting block is still biding his time.
“Na-delay kasi maraming plot twists. ‘Di ba, mayroong aksyon-aksyonan ngayon so medyo tatagal ang aking pagbubuntis. Siguro after Holy Week ang labas niya. Ayaw pa raw niyang mag-taping. Five more weeks. Sabi ko, ‘okay’,” Kris said.
Kris also guarantees her followers that there is still much more to look forward to in her new talent show “Pilipinas Got Talent.”
"‘Yung pinakita po namin, simula pa lang ‘yan. We showed you Cebu and Cagayan de Oro, but there’s still so much more. There’s still Baguio, Metro Manila and, of course, Batangas to look forward to,” she said.
