Akihiro Sato answers gay issue
Brazilian model Akihiro Sato denied rumors that he is gay and that he had a relationship with his photographer back in Thailand, when he was just starting his career.
“When I started my career in Brazil, I flew to Thailand, and he’s the one who took all of my shots. When I left Bangkok, many people got sad. I was supposed to start my career in TV in Bangkok, but I chose Philippines.
"Things happen in showbiz. Wherever you go, people will talk about you,” he recounted on “Showbiz Central.”
He added: “I’m not gay. I love girls. [But] I have a lot of friends who are gays. I don’t have a problem with anyone.”
Recently, the Kapuso hunk was detained at Thailand for half a day because he didn’t have his immigration ID.
“I forgot my immigration ID so I have to show them my ID. But I called my manager and they fixed everything. I almost lost my flight to the Philippines. But everything is fine now,” he related.
After Rufa Mae Quinto, Akihiro will reportedly be paired with Jolina Magdangal on “Panday Kids.”
‘Carlo is not boyfriend material’ - Glaiza de Castro
Singer-actress Glaiza de Castro straightened out speculations that she is, or was, in a relationship with former child actor Carlo Aquino.
The “Diva” villainess has said they are close friends so she does not imagine him to be a “boyfriend material.”
“Si Carlo matagal ko nang kilala. Hindi ko siya nakita as a boyfriend material guy. Mahirap sa mag-kaibigan na pumasok sa isang relationship kasi baka ma-ruin ‘yung friendship. We hang out with the same people and ayaw naming mawala ‘yun [friendship],” she told “Showbiz Central.”
