Roxanne Guinoo has confirmed on “The Buzz” that she is 12 weeks pregnant by her non-showbiz boyfriend of almost three years named Angelo.

“We don’t consider this as a big mistake. We consider this as a big blessing. ‘Tong batang ‘to, magsisimbolo ‘to sa magandang pagsasama namin until the end of time,” the blooming mother-to-be said.

She also ditched rumors that she aborted her child, saying, “Hindi po dumaan sa utak ko na patayin ‘yung bata gaya ho ng lumalabas sa mga [balita] na nagpa-abort daw [ako].”

The controversial actress happily affirmed that she is getting married to her 20-year old squeeze early next year. She even showed her engagement ring during the interview.

“Mali ‘to sa paningin ng ibang tao [na] nauna ang bata. Sa amin hindi. Lahat ng babae, dream na mauna ang proposal. Pero hindi ko na po ine-expect na magpo-propose pa siya. Then sinurprise po niya ko.

“Naramdaman ko na sobrang importante ko pala sa buhay niya na hindi natin ‘to gagawin dahil may bata. Gagawin pa rin natin ‘to dahil gusto natin,” she related. The proposal happened earlier this month.

Another hounding speculation is that her boyfriend is a rich, dirty old man. Roxanne scrapped the “dirty old” part.

“Isa lang siyang simpleng tao. Akala kasi nila matanda. Siguro well-off lang din po ‘yung pamilya niya, hindi naman ganun ka-todo. Ako naman ho bilang Roxanne, bago naman ho ako mag-artista, may negosyo rin ho ang pamilya ko. Mabubuhay ako kahit hindi ho ako mag-artista,” said the 23-year-old former “Star Circle Quest” finalist.

Roxanne, who had prior relationships with Joross Gamboa and Jake Cuenca, describes her new man as her “life.”

“Marami siyang naitama sa buhay ko. Mas nabibigyan ko rin ng halaga ‘yung work and ‘yung sarili ko and ‘yung family ko,” she related, adding that her boyfriend is not the reason for her showbiz “hibernation.”

There have also been rumors that her mother demanded a house and lot from her, which she vehemently denied. She gushed that both their families accepted their relationship, their upcoming marriage, and their baby on the way.

While some assume that Roxanne will bid showbiz goodbye, she assured otherwise: “Goodbye showbiz, hindi po totoo ‘yun. Hello showbiz.”

She wishes that her detractors would simply be happy for her.

“Kaya nga minsan parang iniisip ko ‘yung mga tao, why can’t you just be happy for me? Masaya ako eh [pero] pilit niyo kong hinihila,” she said.
