VIGAN CITY — Members of one of the biggest Ilocos–based party-list groups announced Friday their full support to the presidential bid of Gilbert “Gibo” Teodoro under the ruling Lakas-Kampi CMD party in the May 10 polls.

Felicisimo “Bong” Artajos, one of the founding officials of the 1st Kabagis (Kabalikat ng Bayan Ginhawang Sangkatauhan) party-list, said that Teodoro’s track record and his being an Ilokano was a big factor why members gave their full support for his presidential bid. The 1st Kabagis party-list, one of the 144 party-list groups accredited by the Commission on Elections (Comelec) for the May 10 polls, is an organization of over one million Ilocano professionals, who are members of the Samahang Ilocano (SI), based in the country and abroad.
