Adamson completed its date with destiny, downing National University, 10-5, to win the baseball championship for the third straight year in the 72nd UAAP baseball tournament Thursday at the Rizal Memorial Baseball Stadium.

Romeo Jasmin, adjudged as the Most Valuable Player for the second time in three seasons, put on another dominating performance on the mound while Marvin Malig drove home three runners, including one in a vicious fifth salvo to complete a sweep of their best-of-three title series.

Leading 3-2 at the end of the fourth, the Falcons exploded for four runs as Edward Landicho joined the fray to win the title pulling away.
