Jacky Chan appointed CEO of Siemens, Inc. Philippines
Siemens, Inc., Philippines (Siemens), the local unit of Munich-based Siemens AG, a global electrical engineering conglomerate and green technology solutions provider, recently appointed Jacky Chan, 44, as the company’s President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
Chan replaces Adrian Wood, 42, who is now at the helm of Siemens’ solar energy business in the Middle East after his three-year stint as CEO of Siemens’ Philippine unit.
Formerly heading Siemens’ Industry Automation and Drive Technologies division in Singapore, Chan brings with him more than a decade of technical and management experience. He is credited for spearheading significant industry initiatives including the transformation of its product sales team into a regional consultancy hub overseeing major project installations and key business wins in the ASEAN markets.
Since he joined Siemens, Pte. Ltd. (Singapore) in 1996, Chan has consistently won major projects that enhanced the City State’s reputation as the seat of technological innovation in Asia. Among which was the first intelligent home automation project in the country. He also established strategic partnerships with distributors and business partners.

Before joining Siemens, Chan held a number of regional sales and marketing and business development positions in the electrical and electronics industries. An Electrical Engineering Graduate, Chan holds an MBA in Strategic Marketing from the University of Hull and has attended a number of executive management courses in Asia and the United States.
