Richard Gutierrez signs first three-year contract with GMA

Premiere leading man Richard Gutierrez has renewed his contract with GMA-7 for another three years.

One of the big projects lined up for him is a movie with Claudine Barretto and ex-girlfriend Anne Curtis, which will be shot in California.

“I’m very excited. Gagawin siya sa Amerika. Heavy siya on drama and love story. Very challenging para sa’kin,” the actor enthused on “Showbiz Central.”

Richard, who has previously signed only two-year contracts with the Kapuso network, is also thrilled in preparing for a “surprise” for his fans.

His twin brother Raymond is set to also sign a three-year contract this week.

Brapanese heartthrob Daniel Matsunaga has grown to love the Philippines and has expressed his eagerness to be a Filipino citizen.

“I’m really studying, working, and working hard to be a Filipino citizen. Philippines, for me, is my second home. I feel really comfortable here. If they can change my citizenship, I would change. Walang problema,” he said on “Showbiz Central.”

Although the declaration is being touted as one rooted on his “fondness” for his “The Last Prince” co-star Kris Bernal, “Prince Nicolai” said they’re simply “really good friends.”

‘StarStruck’ guys Rocco Nacino and Enzo Pineda: ‘Career first’

Both have found their respective apples of the eye, but “StarStruck V” First Prince Enzo Pineda and Second Prince Rocco Nacino insist that they will focus on their careers.

“Of course, career muna. Naniniwala ako na ang tunay na pagmamahal, it comes along na lang,” said Enzo, who has expressed his interest on their batch’s Ultimate Female Survivor, Sarah Lahbati.

Rocco, who is being linked to co-avenger Nina Kodaka, share the same sentiment.

“Career din. ‘Yung pag-girlfriend, nung ‘StarStruck’ kasi nag-break din kami ng girlfriend ko, so career muna,” he said.

The two boys have been pitted against each other during the show, but they maintain to be good friends.
