The Philippine Patriots will receive their championship rings this Tuesday in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia for winning the first ASEAN Basketball League title last month in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Aside from getting their rings, the Patriots, led by team owners Mikee Romero of Harbour Centre and businessman Tonyboy Cojuangco, will officially get their official championship trophy.

“This championship is another indication that we still rule the region as far as basketball is concerned,” said Romero. “But we should not rest on our laurels since other countries, like Indonesia and Singapore, are improving very fast.”
