General thanks Erap supporters
General Danilo Lim Tuesday thanked the officials and leaders of ERAP PMP (Para sa Masang Pilipino) who trooped to the PNP Custodial Center in Camp Crame to meet and signify their support for the senatorial bid of the detained general.
Although the present administration has filed court cases against Gen. Lim for his alleged involvement in efforts to overthrow the government, the ERAP PMP, through its chairman Jude Estrada and president Butch Ilagan have formally adopted Gen. Lim as one of their candidates for the Senate, saying they will mobilize their members all over the country to campaign for him.
Incarceration and limited fund have not discouraged Gen. Lim and his supporters from participating in the election process as they seek to bring their struggle for better lives for Filipinos to the Senate.
Jude Estrada, son of presidential candidate Joseph Ejercito Estrada, said his group shares the advocacies that Gen. Danny Lim will be pushing for once elected – peace and order, food and energy sufficiency, education, curbing corruption, electoral reforms, industrialization, agri modernization, health care, poverty alleviation and foreign debt relief.
