For the 37th time, University of Santo Tomas will be crowned as overall champion when the UAAP holds its annual awards night at the Far Eastern University auditorium in Morayta.

The España-based school nailed its 12th straight overall crown after tallying 305 points, 53 points ahead of La Salle. Host FEU finished a distant third (229 points).

UST won seven titles to highlight its dominance this year.

Swimmer and part-time actor Enchong Dee, trackster Serenata Saluan, FEU woodpusher Shaider Nebato, and cager Dylan Ababou are the leading candidates for the Athlete of the Year award.

Dee took the MVP honors in swimming after winning seven gold medals, while Saluan won the Rookie of the Year and MVP awards at the same time while starring for National Capital Region team in the recent CHED National Games.
