DAVAO CITY — Pastor Apollo C. Quiboloy, founder of the Kingdom of Jesus Christ, the Name Above Every Name, Thursday maintained his personal impression on presidentiable Senator Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III as having no “word of honor” over the latter’s failure to attend the presidential forum sponsored by Quiboloy here in Davao City last March 9.

Last March 8, Aquino informed Quiboloy that he would not be able to attend the presidential forum dubbed as “Sukatan 2010” due to his barosinusitis. The senator claimed that he was advised by his doctor against flying in two days as it would be detrimental to his health.

Dismayed, Quiboloy quoted a passage that says “commitment is your word of honor, when you fail to fulfill your commitment you have no word and you have no honor.”

It was learned that the presidential forum of Quiboloy was initially slated on Feb. 11 but due to Aquino’s unavailability, the ievangelist decided to move it to March 9 with Aquino committing to attend the event.

Quiboloy’s reaction on Aquino’s absence surprised many as he was not the only one absent in the said forum. Senator Manny Villar who was in Davao City on Tuesday also failed to attend the presidential forum. Earlier, Villar told the media that he would be attending Quiboloy’s forum. Villar readily apologized to Quiboloy for his absence.

On Wednesday, it was learned though that Aquino flew to Zamboanga. When informed, Quiboloy said his reaction remains the same.

Quiboloy is one of the most sought by presidentiables considering his six- million-strong followers in the country and two million all over the world.

The pastor said he will be announcing his preferred presidentiable on his birthday on April 25.
