In addition, iRemit will also accept remittances going to some 5 million people in Georgia, which is in south western Asia between Turkey and Russia, bordering the Black Sea,. More than half, or 3.5 million of the country’s population reside and work in other European countries, according to Harris Jacildo, president and COO of iRemit.

iRemit is now positioning itself to open other remittance corridors all over the world announced chairman and CEO, Bansan Choa. “This partnership with Intel Express is very strategic as it boosts iRemit’s efforts to offer remittance services, not only for the Philippine corridor but for other countries as well.
