Derek Ramsay looks forward to watching the coming FIFA World Cup with Angelica Panganiban.

Hunk actor Derek Ramsay is crying foul over what he alleged were below-the-belt reports against his persona.

Tabloid reports have it that Derek subjected girlfriend of three years Angelica Panganiban to verbal abuse. This, according to the rumor, was what actually caused the recent break up of the young couple.

Derek emphasized there is not an iota of truth to the report.

“May mga obstacles kaming pinagdaanan pero we’ve past it. I don’t know where all those chikas are coming from,” he said via “Showbiz News Ngayon” on March 11.

He denied abusing Angelica verbally, adding that people around them can attest to it.

“Well, not only Angel but people around me who know me, who know her, who know us. They know that it does not exist,” he said.

This June, Derek is looking forward to a grand vacation with his lady love from June 6 to June 30. They will be watching the FIFA World Cup.

In an interview last year, Derek said he will not miss watching the football game for anything.

"Kasi if we miss it, we’ll have to wait another four years to watch it,” he said.

Derek is worried that Angel might not understand how passionate he is when it comes to football.

“Kasi ako talaga umiiyak, sumisigaw, nagagalit, naghuhubad. Talagang I am a very passionate football player and fanatic."

No doubt, the forthcoming vacation is something that Derek is looking forward to.

“We’re really excited because we’re renting a house,” he said in the same SNN episode.

During a recent wedding of a friend, Angelica was able to catch the bouquet traditionally thrown by the bride. Is this a sign of an upcoming marriage for the two?

“Kinuwento nga niya sa akin ‘yon, eh, special rose daw. May special rose pala iyon. Guess what? I don’t believe in traditions. Like I said, I’m a very spontaneous guy. I act on impulse,” Derek explained.

“Ewan natin. Tingnan lang natin. I don’t know. No plans.”
