Is is true that Queen of Media Kris Aquino commented on the flowers at the wake of TV host and columnist Cristy Fermin's mom, Felina S. Fermin---particularly on those sent by a well-known and moneyed politician?

According to a source, Kris voiced her disappointment over the flower arrangement as soon as she stepped inside Funeraria Nacional in Quezon City. She reportedly asked Cristy why the flowers were lined up in the ground floor when her mother’s funeral service room is in the second floor.

The columnist, who must have noted that Kris was in her “elements,” told Kris to just "let the flowers be."

In their short talk, Kris reportedly chided Cristy for being absent in her mom Cory Aquino’s wake. Cristy responded by pointing out that Kris herself was not able to extend her condolence to the father of one of her program’s PR officers, Vinia Vivar, whose father passed away recently.

When she learned about it, Kris immediately called her assistant to apologize. After visiting the wake of Cristy’s mom, Kris personally visited Vinia.

Kris and Cristy have not fully patched their differences to this day. Their spat is already a few years old; one that happened even before Cristy was suspended and eventually axed from “The Buzz.”

Cristy, who was also booted out from her showbiz-oriented radio program in DZMM, will be back soon on television via a show on TV-5. She will host “Paparazzi,” a showbiz talk show that will rival “The Buzz” and “Showbiz Central” on Sundays. She will be joined by The Buzz alumna Ruffa Gutierrez and, reportedly, DJ Mo.
