Kris leaving ‘The Buzz’?
Senator Benigno Simeon “Noynoy” Aquino III remains unaffected with the latest controversy involving his youngest sister but said he continuously pray for Kris, especially after she said Sunday she was willing to leave her long-running talk show “The Buzz” if calls for her removal forces the ABS-CBN management to do so.
In an interview aired over GMA-7's morning program "Unang Hirit" Monday morning, Noynoy said he has been praying for his youngest sister, especially after the talk show host recently figured in a clash with actress Ruffa Gutierrez and her manager-mother, Annabelle Rama, who even took a swipe at the senator to attack Kris.
“What I do is just pray for her and the rest of my siblings, nephews, and nieces. I am praying that God will take care of them especially at this time when they too become targets of the negative propaganda against me,” he said.
It was recalled that Rama urged voters not to vote for Noynoy after she accused Kris of bullying Ruffa. Rama was quoted as saying that she wonders how arrogant Kris could even more get once Noynoy is elected to Prsident.
“If our critics insist in involving me in this controversy, I would just prefer to have no comment. Besides, I was busy campaigning that I failed to watch that episode,” he said, referring to the March 7 episode of “The Buzz” wherein Gutierrez allegedly walked out because of Kris’ maltreatment.
