PAGBILAO, Quezon — A truck driver was killed and his helper wounded when their truck fell into a 200-foot ravine off the New Diversion Road in Sitio Sapinit, Barangay Malicboy, here, Tuesday morning.

Chief Inspector Laudemer Llaneta, Pagbilao Police Station chief, identified the fatality as Ramil Narciles, 40, single and a resident and native of Catanduanes.

Llaneta identified the wounded was Gabby Lastimosa, 23, single, a resident of Presentacion, Sta.Maria, Camarines Sur.

He said Narciles lost control of the truck, with license plates TNV-444, while cruising along the road and struck construction railing before falling into the ravine.

Lastimosa was able to jump from the truck before it fell so he only sustained wounds in the face, arms and legs.
