Toni Rose’s driver denies saying James Lim committed suicide
Ariel Tolentino, the driver of Toni Rose Gayda’s family, denied that he said Toni Rose’s son, James Lim, committed suicide because of depression.
“Kina-klaro ko lang na wala akong sinabing ganun at wala akong pinipirmahang blotter,” he clarified on “Showbiz Central.”
Monie Lim, Toni Rose’s ex-husband, vented his rage on Tolentino in an interview on “Startalk” on March 20, saying that he saw his interviews on TV where the latter gave a statement about the death of Lim’s youngest son.
Meanwhile, the “Eat Bulaga” host follows Ali Sotto’s example by donating James' eyes to the blind.
“I know James is already with the Lord, and sa’kin, ‘yung magagawa mo para may continuity si James. ‘Yung makita mo man lang ‘yung mata ng anak mo sa iba, na makatulong ka rin,” she said, adding that it was her and mother Rosa Rosal’s decision to donate James’ eyes.
Recall that Ali Sotto, mother of young actor Miko Sotto, also donated his eyes after his accidental death in 2003.
James’ older brother, John, became emotional when asked for a message for his brother:
“James, I really, really miss you. They’re interviewing your number one fan right now, and the person who really, really loves you and misses you. I love you James. See you in heaven.”
