Grace Lee decides to stop snowboarding

DJ and TV host Grace Lee said she will stop snowboarding for three years while her broken elbow heals.

“Mga three years tigil muna ako. After three years, tingnan natin kung kaya ko pa,” she said on “Showbiz Central.”

The “Diz Iz It” host figured in a snowboarding accident last March 14 while on vacation in Seoul, South Korea.

“‘Yung lalaking nasa likod ko, natumba siya. So nadamay ako. Pagtumba ko, nabali ‘yung left arm ko,” she recounted.

Grace continued: “‘Yung ski resort was three hours away from Seoul, so medyo malayo siya. They made an emergency makeshift cast and then I was rushed to the hospital in Seoul, mga three hours na biyahe dun. Pagdating ko dun na-emergency room na ko. They found out na fractured nga ‘yung left elbow bone ko.”

No operation has yet been made on her elbow, Grace added, saying it’s still under observation, as it is a sensitive fracture. A wrong surgery could render her left arm immobile for life.

“Delikado kasi dito pala dumadaan ‘yung nerve natin na gumagalaw sa fingers natin 'tsaka ‘yung joint movement. 'Tsaka ito ‘yung pinaka-prone sa side effects after.

“Sabi ng doctor there’s a possibility na when we open, delikado kasi ‘yung nerve kung saan nabali ‘yung buto, dun dumadaan ‘yung pinakamalaking nerve. Kung hindi maayos ‘yung surgery puwedeng hindi ko magamit ‘yung kamay ko for the rest of my life,” she related.

The chinita radio and TV personality said she would seek a second opinion from a local doctor.

She described the incident as “the most painful moment in my life, physically,” and through it, learned that “lahat ng parte ng katawan natin talagang importante.”

Sam Milby admits he passed out in Japan

Rockoustic Heartthrob Sam Milby admitted that he passed out in Japan, where he recently had a concert with other Kapamilya stars.

Sam clarified on “The Buzz” that he passed out in restaurant, contrary to what Giselle Sanchez wrote in her blog that it happened inside a public toilet.

“I wasn’t feeling well. I just wanted to sit down kasi I just felt really bad,” he recalled.

Sam performed in the TFC show with Zanjoe Marudo, Bugoy Drilon, and Laarni Lozada.
