After an absence of a few years, sexy star Lara Morena is back in show business; this time, not just as an actress but as a producer as well.

Her new project is “Fling,” a sexy indie film written by Charlotte Dianco, which also stars Rafael Rosell, Jacq Yu and Lance Raymundo.

"Bonggacious talaga. We shot some scenes in Boracay. Talagang nag-enjoy kami,” Lara said in a recent interview with Manila Bulletin Entertainment Online.

Lara agreed to produce and star in "Fling" under one condition.

“Sinabi ko kay Charlotte na gusto ko si Rosell [ang lead actor], gumawa ka ng paraan. ‘Pag hindi, ‘wag na lang,” Lara said, laughing.

Why him?

“I don’t know. Pinili ko siya. Siya talaga. Alam ko he can give justice sa project namin,” explained Lara, who now heads the newly-minted outfit MSG Productions.

Lara is particularly proud of the love scenes between Rosell and Jacq in the movie.

"Yung love scene, ‘pag nakita n’yo, you’ll appreciate it. Noong napanood ko, ang ganda ng pagkakagawa. It’s not bastos, walang nakita pero ang ganda. Hindi mo alam kung anong parte ng katawan ang nakita, parang ganoon,” she said with excitement painted all over her face.

Since she’s been inactive for years now, Lara felt jitters while doing the film.

“Medyo kinabahan, pero the rest, ‘yung character ko as a model, okay lang.”

Lara is also set to embark on a recording career. She is now in the process of selecting songs for her album.
