Luis Manzano defended ex-girlfriend Angel Locsin from a rumor that she has become an alcoholic, wild girl influenced by Parokya Ni Edgar front man Chito Miranda.

"I can vouch for it. I can bet everything that I have [na] hindi siya lasenggera. She is not an alcoholic. People close to her, people who love her, kahit her fans know na hindi siya ganun,” the actor-host said on “The Buzz.”

The actress was also rumored to have flown to Hong Kong last March 16. However, a Twitter update by Angel disproved this:

“General cleaning mode☺ ang dami palang gamit sa bahay na hindi na nagagamit, sayang naman… ayoko talaga ng tambak☺”

Angel, as reported on CinemaOne’s “Cinema News” on March 20, said in a text message: “Oo nga, nabalitaan ko rin. Ayoko na munang magsalita. Mas kilala ko naman ang sarili ko. Parang ‘di ko kailangang mag-explain.”

She is said to be busy these days preparing for her movie with Aga Muhlach and soap opera with John Lloyd Cruz. Angel has also engaged in fitness activities, according to an ABS-CBN source.
