CAMP TOLENTINO, Bataan – A top police official said day that the Philippine National Police (PNP) is now accepting new applicants to fill in the Police Regional Office 3’s (PRO3’s) need for 930 new policemen.

Chief Superintendent Arturo Cacdac Jr., PRO3 director, said that this 2010 recruitment for new policemen is a part of the PNP Integrated Transformation Program (PNPITP) on personnel management.

The aim, Cacdac said, is to alleviate the existing police to population ratio in Central Luzon of its 1:1,250 from the authorized ratio of one policeman for every 1,000 population.

Bataan Police Provincial Office Director Arnold D. Gunnacao asked the public particularly those who are interested to enter the PNP service to just get in touch with him immediately so he can make the necessary endorsement to the regional police office.

Sr. Supt. Valiant de Guzman, Deputy Regional Director for Administration and Chairman of the Regional Screening Committee said, the scheduled oath-taking for the qualified applicants will be on July 1, 2010 if the 930 quota is filled-up before the scheduled oathtaking.
