Erich Gonzales says success has not gone to her head
Young Kapamilya star Erich Gonzales refuted rumors that she developed a bloated ego after the success of her two consecutive shows, “Katorse” and “Tanging Yaman.”
For weeks now, Erich was painted as a snob, not worthy to be emulated by her young audience. Critics say she has not learned to look back on her humble beginnings. The rumor mills also have it that she has been very hard to deal with during tapings.
Reportedly, she shouts at the slightest mistake of the people in the production.
Erich just shrugged off all the nasty publicity that have been hounding her for weeks now. In an interview aired on “Showbiz News Ngayon”, the young star displayed an nonchalant attitude towards her detractors.
So, consequence na lang ‘yan na I have to face,” she said on SNN March 30.
For the actress, what’s important now is that she has the support of people who love her.
She maintains she has not changed a bit, that the continued success of her soaps is not enough to go to her head.
The young actress is busy with the thrice-a-week taping of “Tanging Yaman.” Given her busy schedule, she still finds time to pursue her studies in her free time.
“‘Pag wala po akong schedule, I make sure na pupunta akong school. ‘Yung mga na-miss kong lessons, ayun, gagawin kong lahat,” said Erich who is determined to earn a college degree.
