Loren commended for ‘social technocratism’
Nacionalista Party vice presidential candidate Senator Loren Legarda was commended by Albay Governor Joey Salceda for "social technocratism" which he said is what the country needs to reach the poor and the underprivileged in society.
“We need a leader that can relate to people from all walks of life, a leader that can do social rebalancing. To me, Senator Legarda epitomizes this type of leader,” he said.
Salceda added, “public service and politics do not stop in the elections. Albay shares the same aspirations and social technocracies of Senator Legarda. Nakikita ko sa kanya ang image of a social technocrat. That is what the country needs, one who will address social problems, one who can reach everybody especially the poor and underprivileged.”
“Ang kailangan ng Pilipinas ay isang lider na sasagot sa problema ng lahat. Ang magpapatakbo ng gobyerno at dapat isang social technocrat,” (Our country needs a leader who can address our pressing problems, who can run the government and he/she should be a social technocrat, Salceda said.
Legarda, who is this year’s special guest at the Magayon Festival in Albay, transcended political boundaries with the endorsement of Salceda who is a member of Lakas-Kampi-CMD.
