Ivler transferred to QC jail

Road rage suspect, Jason Ivler was transferred to the Quezon City Jail on Tuesday, April 6, 2010, after spending months of confinement at the Quirino Memorial Medical Center.

Ivler was brought out of the hospital on a wheelchair but was required to get up and walk to enter the jail gate.

According to jail warden, Supt. Nestor Velasquez, Ivler will be put in an international cell with 22 other foreign nationals.

Ivler's doctor at the QMMC, Dr. Romeo Abary, assured that the suspect will be needing regular wound care which can be provided by the jail's nurses.

The suspect's mother, Marlene Aguilar-Pollard, accompanied her son during the transfer but was not allowed inside the jail until the turnover process was completed.
