Borgy Manotoc is set to fly to Shanghai, China, on April 15 for a fashion show by global brand Calvin Klein.

“TweetBiz” host Tim Yap posted on his Twitter account that Manotoc will be sharing the catwalk with American actress Eva Mendes.

Borgy is not new to modeling, having done the same for local apparel brand Bench a few years ago. He has also used his looks for meaningful causes, including doing a poster for PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) with ex-girlfriend Ornusa Cadness, wearing only body paint of animal skin. He is the grandson of the late Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos.

Eva is CK's top endorsers particularly for its underwear and perfume lines, following the likes of Kate Moss and Mark Wahlberg.

Eva made headlines in 2008 when her ad for the “Secret Obsession” perfume was banned in the US for allegedly being too sexy. The video features the “Hitch” and “2 Fast 2 Furious” star rolling topless in bed.

For CK’s Spring/Summer 2010 campaign for their Whitewashed jeans, Eva went topless and oiled up with Irish model Jamie Dornan.

It's the second time this month that a Filipino celebrity was picked to model for an international brand. A few days ago, “Born To Be Wild” host and “Survivor Philippines” contestant Kiko Rustia was announced as one of hip label, United Colors of Benetton's newest models.
