Angelica Panganiban unperturbed by controversial photo with Derek Ramsay

Angelica Panganiban is not bothered by the proliferation of a photo that seemingly shows her hands inside boyfriend Derek Ramsay's shorts.
Her initial reaction upon seeing the photo? "Taray!"
Then turning serious, Angelica quipped, "Artista kami [at] part 'yun [controversies] ng trabaho."
The photo was said to be taken by one of the couple’s friends. But they are not about to point an accusing finger on friends who were with them in Boracay where the picture was shot.
“Ayaw naman naming mag-pinpoint. Ayaw namin ng galit so kung may naglabas nu’n, bahala sila. Friend pa rin namin sila. Tulad ng sinabi ko, ayaw naming paliitin ang mundo namin. Nag-iingat na lang kami.”
She's aware that the tabloid which published the photo has in their possession 20 more equally controversial pictures of them and that these will be released in due time.
“Oo nga eh, ang dami daw. Gusto nila bigyan ko na lang sila. Sa akin na manggagaling. O gusto nila magtatayo ako ng magazine. Lalabas ko na lang photos namin. Uunahan ko na sila,” she said during the media huddle for her forthcoming movie “Here Comes the Bride,” a comedy which also stars Jaime Fabregas, Tuesday Vargas, John “Sweet” Lapus and Eugene Domingo.
One thing that the couple realized out of this controversy is to take precautionary measures and learn who to trust.
“Siguro, ‘yung lesson na natutunan naming is ‘wag na lang magtitiwala sa ibang tao,” she said.
Likewise, Derek’s parents were also unaffected by the controversial photo that circulated.
“Wala, tawa lang sila nang tawa,” Angelica said.
On June 26, Derek and Angelica will start their grand vacation in South Africa. This was a well-planned sabbatical, which took long to schedule. The couple will be away for one month.
“Mga two years ago pa namin binalak. After ng movie namin, plinano na namin. Naghanap na kami ng flight, naghanap na kami ng bahay na matitirhan doon. Sinigurado na namin ‘yung mga barkada na makakasama namin.”
