Young sexy star Cristine Reyes has denied the rumor that she and Pop Star Sarah Geronimo snubbed each other at an ABS-CBN event recently.

“Okay naman kami nu’ng nagkita kami sa 'Lupang Hinirang' show sa ABS [CBN]. Mga two weeks ago. Nag-'Hi!' ako. Bumeso pa ako sa kanya,” explained Cristine on "Showbiz News Ngayon," April 30.

For weeks now, the two are said to have been at odds with each other following reports that Cristine is the new apple of Rayver Cruz’s eye. Rayver was once rumored to be Sarah's boyfriend but they supposedly broke-up recently due to pressure from her parents.

Ara Mina’s younger sister seems to be clueless about the whole thing.

“Bakit ba may issue sa amin ni Sarah? I don’t now why. Parang wala naman dapat issue,” she said casually.

And what does she think of the rumor linking her to Rayver?

“Wala, sobrang deadma lang ako. Wala akong pakialam. Natatawa lang ako, seryoso.”

According to Cristine, Sarah is too nice to stoop so low as to give credence to a rumor. “Hindi, hindi. Mabait naman iyon,” Cristine stressed.

To straighten up things, Cristine categorically said Rayver is not courting her.

“Hindi siya nanliligaw. Ewan ko kung nanliligaw siya. Para sa akin, hindi. Para sa akin magkakaibigan lang lahat.”

Cristine claimed she doesn’t know Rayver personally. For her, the actor-dancer is a mere acquaintance.

“’Di kami friends as in solid friends. Hindi kami lagi nagha-hangout. Kilala ko lang siya and that’s it. Ewan ko kung bakit nagkaroon ng issue.”
