Apparently irked by a TV ad that seemingly alludes to her brother presidential wannabe Senator Benigno "Noynoy" Aquino III not having enough experience for the post, actress-TV host Kris Aquino took to Twitter last April 29 to zero in on one of the featured endorsers in the ad, boxing hero Manny Pacquiao.

Aquino took a swipe at the Pinoy sports icon for lambasting her brother. She listed her brother’s achievements, saying it could actually be construed as something akin to an undefeated record.

Recall that Pacquaio has already been politically “knocked out” when he squared against Darlene Antonino-Custodio for a congressional seat in 2007.

Kris’ whole tweet read: "I saw endorsement tvc of Pinoy sports icon saying words to the effect na laban ng laban wala naman napatunayan. In politics, Noy has won 3 straight terms sa Congress & won almost 15 million votes sa Senatorial (elections) in 2007. How sad na he (Pacquiao) didn't think na in politics- knock out nga sya. In politics si Noy ang may napatunayan because Noy has never lost an election! Ika nga, undefeated ang record nya!”

In the ad, the boxer mouthed: "Merong iba d'yan, laban ng laban sa salita pero wala pa namang nagawa."

In a TV interview, Pacquiao, who is currently running against Roy Chiongbian for Sarangani province’s lone congressional seat, simply shrugged off Kris’ comment.

“We don’t want to pick a fight with other candidates because it is not a good example especially if your intentions are supposedly good,” said he in Filipino.
