Quiboloy endorses Gibo
In an interview, Quiboloy revealed that at 12 noon Sunday, he saw a vision with US President Barrack Obama in a press conference. "He pointed at me and shook hands with me. At that point, I saw a sign above us that says GibObama," he said, adding that both Gibo and Obama attended Harvard.
Quiboloy disclosed that it took him three days and a consensus with other leaders of the congregation to come up with the decision, which he said was unanimous.
He bared one of the factors that made him chose Teodoro. "He set an example in no-mudslinging campaigning is a big factor with the decision. He exudes political maturity," Quiboloy said.
Teodoro expressed gratitude over the endorsement. "It is a humbling experience. Six million people trusting you is no joke. The life of the people and future of the Philippines are at stake," he said.
He also urged people to unite. "The work begins now. We must start getting together as one. Love your neighbor and hope God will bless us with humility and understanding," Teodoro said.
Despite his standing on survey ratings, Teodoro is confident that there is a growing support for him. "The pastor's endorsement is a positive boost but the endorsement is there and we saw how people support us as we go around the country," he said.
Quiboloy also bared that he is not an opportunist. "If I am an opportunist, I will go for the the frontrunner. But I chose a leader who will rise above personal issues. He may be a dark horse that comes from behind," he said.
Quiboloy also endorsed Vice Presidentiable Mar Roxas after two revelation dreams on June 20, 2009 and March 25, 2010. He added that the congregation leaders are yet to decide on their senatoriables.
Quiboloy also thanked the other Presidentiables Senators Benigno "Noynoy" Aquino, Manny Villar, Jamby Madrigal, Richard Gordon, Bro. Eddie Villanueva, and former President Joseph Estrada who he said, deserve to be honored and recognized.
