Comedienne Pokwang plans to put up her second house in Antipolo, a place that she feels has brought her tremendous luck.

“Hindi ako bababa ng Antipolo dahil sobrang blessed sa akin ‘yung lugar na iyon,” she said on “Showbiz News Ngayon,” May 3.

She also plans to put up a restaurant business with friends.

Pokwang emphasized that her moves are not part of her preparations to settle down with her new suitor, a police officer in the US named Ryan Navarro. The comedienne met Navarro during her show with Piolo Pascual, Sam Milby and Bea Alonzo last Holy Week. Navarro asked for her autograph and invited her for dinner after the concert.

Pokwang denied Navarro is already her boyfriend. “Wala pang level na talagang ano na, landian na,” she quipped.

But she admits missing Navarro’s company.

“Kasi masarap siyang kausap sa personal. Bukod sa napapraktis ang English ko, naniniwala ako na kapag mahal ka ng isang tao, kesehodang ano ka, tanggap ka niya.”

Navarro is set to visit Manila in August to watch her concert at the Araneta Coliseum. They’re still in communication after going on a dinner date in Dallas.

"Sabi niya, kasi meron akong birthday concert, aantayin niya daw ‘yung sagot ko kung okay ako that day," Pokwang said in a previous interview.
