She may be beautiful, talented and classy-looking, but for a popular networking site, actress Marian Rivera is a certified “Jejemon.” A new word coinage, jejemons are defined as individuals with low IQ and who spread their idiocy on the web. They have low tolerance in correct spelling, punctuation, syntax and grammar.

The branding came in the wake of a recent “TV Patrol” interview wherein Rivera, who took part in a recent Liberal Party concert held at San Andres Sports Complex, was quoted saying, “Isa po akong psychology at nakikita ko na wala naman siyang [Sen. Noynoy Aquino] diperensiya, kaya sa kanya pa rin ako kahit anong sabihin nila.”

A comment on the same site, which posted the interview clip, said: “maybe, she’s trying to say, she is a Psychotic or Psychopathic. Marian, baka ikaw ang may diperensya? jejejeje just kidding peace.”

Marian’s TV statement was in response to accusation that the presidentiable she is endorsing has psychiatric problems. Marian is a Psychology graduate at De La Salle University in Dasmariñas, Cavite.

The actress and her boyfriend, Dingdong Dantes, are avid supporters of Aquino.

Meanwhile, the couple’s movie starrer “You to Me Are Everything” successfully held its premiere last Sunday at SM Megamall. It was a star-studded evening. The cast of the popular teleserye, “First Time,” performed a dance number.

Dingdong and Marian will be seen next in an adaptation of the hit Koreanovela, “Endless Love.”

They earlier acted together in “Dyesebel,” “Marimar” and “Ang Babaeng Hinugot sa Aking Tadyang.”

The couple welcome the idea of working on TV and movie projects together.

“Magkakasama kami [ni Dingdong] nang matagal… tipong araw-araw…” Dingdong added, “Very fortunate kami na ibinigay sa amin after a movie, TV project naman kung saan kami magsasama nang matagal pa.”
