Election is only a few days away. Here are some reminders to help you through one of our country's most important days.

• According to the Comelec website, voting begins at 7:00 am and ends at 6:00 pm. Go to your precint early to avoid the rush.
• Bring your voter's ID and/or registration stub along with another valid ID to validate your identity at the voting precint.
• Check your name on the voters list and secure a ballot.
• It is a good idea to prepare a list of your chosen candidates to help avoid mistakes when shading the official ballot. A sample ballot is available for download at the Comelec website.
• Cast your vote by shading the ovals corresponding to the name of your choice candidate. Do not mark the ovals with a check or a cross, and do not encircle them. Avoid making other markings as this will invalidate the ballot.
• Do not overvote.
• Insert your ballot into the Precinct Count Optical Scan (PCOS) machine. Do not leave until your ballot has securely entered the PCOS machine.
• Have your finger marked with indelible ink.
