It’s time to relax.

After a grueling three-month campaign period that took him to the far-flung areas of the country, Liberal Party (LP) standard-bearer Sen. Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III Friday disclosed that he will spend the weekend prior to election day in Tarlac with his nephews Baby James and Joshua and watch the movie “Iron Man 2” if it is being shown there.

“I will ask Kris (his sister) to send Baby James and Joshua there, so we can spend time in the pool,” Aquino told reporters.

The senator from Tarlac said he will start his day on Sunday by attending a mass.

Later on that day, Aquino said he will watch the movie Iron Man 2 in a theater just outside the sprawling Hacienda Luisita. The movie is the sequel to director Jon Favreau's 2008 blockbuster which stars Robert Downey Jr. It is currently being shown in Manila.

According to Aquino he enjoyed the entire time when he was out campaigning under the heat of the summer sun.

“When you see the outpouring of support, love, and prayers and emotions that people have invested in this campaign it is indeed very rewarding,” Aquino told reporters during a press conference held in Cubao.

The LP, headed by Aquino and his running mate Senator Manuel “Mar” Roxas II, will be at the Quezon Memorial Circle in Quezon City at 6 p.m. for their miting de avance.

The LP camp is calling on supporters to come in yellow.

Aquino’s provincial campaign, which kicked off in his home province Tarlac, ended on Monday in the provinces of Albay and Sorsogon in the Bicol region.

His sorties took him from Batanes province in the north to Zamboanga in the south.

There were also numerous requests that he visit provinces that they were unable to visit during the campaign period but according to Aquino “given the fact that this is a rush campaign, this is the best I can do.”

To maximize his campaign, his sisters, including popular television host Kris Aquino, held separate sorties in other provinces.
