Reigning Mindanao Driver of the Year Hernel John Jao of Phatspeed Racing survived the rain and the gutsy performance of Sid Datukon of Dynamic Performance to take the early lead in the southern leg of Castrol Edge 2010 Philippine Autocross Championship Series.

There were eight lead changes in the wet track before Jao recorded the only lap below 43 seconds as he checked in at 42.78.
Datukon’s fastest lap was clocked at 43.37.

Lance Binamira also made his presence felt in the series by dominating the fourth stage held in Luzon, taking both the novice  and overall honors at the Meycauayan Commercial Complex in Bulacan.

PAGCOR Parañaque will host the fifth stage of the series presented by Castrol Edge and Federal Tires and supported by Outlast Battery, Disk Brakes Australia, Calcium-Cee, Cruven System, and Rango VII. The event organized by Shago Racing, Advancement and the 5th Gear Motorsports is also supported by Stop Light TV, Auto  Transporter, Auto Mobile Association of the Philippines, The Checkered Flag Magazine and Tuazon Racing School.
