AOC’s LED monitors guarantee big electricity savings

The more you use your PC, the higher your electricity bill gets. Small businesses like Internet shops or small production offices that require the use of computers don’t feel the effects of this strongly, unlike big companies such as BPOs where computer users number thousands.

People in BPOs don’t play games, they work non-stop. How much electricity do they consume per day? How much carbon do electric companies burn for their year-long labor? Is there a way to reduce these figures dramatically and minimize the damage both financially and economically?

Thankfully, there is a more practical way of finding out and a more economical way of solving the problem of carbon footprint for BPOs and other large companies. AOC has crafted an online web calculator that computes the power consumption and value of consumption for PC monitors. Calibrated to MERALCO rates, the web calculator accurately computes consumption by inputting the number of hours used, days a week used, and the type and size of the monitor.

Now that consumers can see how much they spend, the next step is to lower it by a big fraction. End-users can compare the wattage of their current hardware with AOC LED monitor models, and instantly see the difference.

Besides their LED lighting, which is already a low power and low consuming aspect of the LED screens, AOC’s LED monitors have several power saving features as well. These include power timers and eco modes where users won’t have to sacrifice the quality of their viewing pleasure when using less energy.

Apart from consuming less energy, AOC’s LED monitors do not contain mercury.
