No security plans yet for future First Family

There are no instructions yet to guard President-elect Benigno Simeon Aquino III's immediate family members and even his girlfriend, Valenzuela councilor Shalani Soledad, the incoming commander of the Presidential Security Group (PSG) said on Friday.

Col. Ramon Mateo Dizon, who also served the late President Corazon Aquino during her term, said that he has not received any instructions yet whether they would provide security for Aquino's sisters and even Soledad.

The sisters of Aquino reportedly prefer that their children would be the ones who would be guarded and not themselves.

"I feel safer if we know where they are. But again that’s on instructions of the president. As of now I’m not yet (instructed)," Dizon said Thursday in an interview with newsmen.
