After Queenie Padilla, it’s Pokwang’s turn to reveal a little yet juicy detail about the developments between her “Wowowee” co-host Mariel Rodriguez and Robin Padilla.

The Kapamilya comedienne spilled in an interview aired on “Showbiz News Ngayon” that Rodriguez and Padilla are textmates.

“Hindi ko alam ang phone number ni Robin, pero si Mariel magka-text sila. Unfair!” blurted Pokwang.

Rodriguez, fresh from her breakup with boyfriend of almost three years Zanjoe Marudo, kept fervently denying that there is something romantic going on between her and the action star. Yet Pokwang noticed that Rodriguez’s eyes are “twinkling” these days.

“Sinasabihan ko nga si Mariel, 'Ikaw 'yong mga mata mo, akala mo hindi ko nababasa tumi-twinkle twinkle,'” she said.

Rodriguez and Padilla’s sizzling chemistry, which was first seen on “Wowowee” during the latter’s two-week stint as guest host (main host Willie Revillame is on indefinite leave), is set to be relived through the sitcom “Palibhasa Sikat,” which is said to premiere in July.

Meanwhile, Pokwang admitted that she misses Padilla, with whom she also shared “romantic” moments on “Wowowee.”

“Siguro mami-miss namin 'yong tratong ibinigay niya sa amin, 'yong respetong ibinigay niya sa amin. Sa kanya namin naramdaman na babae pala kami. Sa kanya namin naranasan 'yong kalayaan para i-express kung ano ‘yong ginagawa namin sa trabaho.

"Tsaka very vocal siya sa amin kung ano 'yong nararamdaman din niya. Kaya sobrang nami-miss namin siya,” she related.

While her co-host’s “love life” seems “blooming” (although controversial), Pokwang’s is experiencing the opposite. She confessed not to be on speaking terms with her Mexican-American boyfriend Ryan Navarro, a police officer she met during her concert in Dallas, Texas.

She cited her job (“Kasi hindi nya naiintindihan ang trabaho ko”) and distance (“Hindi ninyo nakikita ang isa’t isa, tapos ‘yon nga, kung anu-ano ‘yong mga iniisip”) as to why their relationship is on the rocks.

There’s also a seeming “cheating” incident on the part of the guy, she added.

“Nag-‘I love you’-han na kami kaya lang…kinulang lang siguro ng tiwala sa isa’t-isa. Kasi may naririnig din ako. May nakakita sa kanya doon, mga kakilala namin, sa isang bar, may kasamang girlalet…

"Tapos dumagdag pa ‘yong sa trabaho ko. May mga text siya kapag hindi ako agad nakakapag-reply.”

In spite of this, Pokwang still managed to joke about her beau: “Sayang ang lahi niya. Blue eyes pa naman siya. Pangarap ko ‘yon.”
