Pacquiao to lead GenSan Warriors

Three more teams, led by host PacMan GenSan Warriors, make their debut as the Second Leg of the Tournament of the Philippines unfolds Wednesday at the Lagao gym in General Santos City.
Aside from the Warriors, who will likely insert team owner, boxing idol and newly-elected Sarangani congressman Manny Pacquiao on their lineup, other debuting teams are Cobra Energy Drink and the Misamis Oriental Meteors.
The fourth team in this leg are the Treston-Laguna Stallions, who bagged third place in the initial leg of this joint venture between the Philippine Basketball League and Liga Pilipinas.
The Warriors battle the Stallions in the main game at 7:30 p.m. after the Ironmen and the Meteors collide in the curtain raiser at 5 p.m. Pacquiao, who is coming off a trip to the United States after receiving his Boxer of the Decade award from the Boxing Writers Association of America, has been listed as a 5-foot-7 point guard and will wear the No. 17 jersey in front of his home fans.
