The list of the possible official residence of President-elect Aquino just got longer.

The transition team of the incoming administration on Wednesday inspected the Premier Guest House inside the Malacañang compound as a potential residence, according to Presidential Management Staff (PMS) chief Elena Bautista-Horn.

Other places reportedly being considered by President-elect Aquino are Bahay Pangarap, Goldenberg Mansion, and Arlegui Mansion.

Bautista-Horn, speaking to reporters in the Palace, said they have given the Aquino transition team a tour of the Premier Guest House, also known as the Bonifacio Hall.

The two-storey Premier Guest House, built in 1975, was previously used as a main office of the late President Corazon Aquino. Former President Joseph Estrada adopted the refurnished facility as his residence during his term. If Aquino picks the Premier Guest House as his residence, Bautista-Horn said there would only be minor refurbishment since the facility was used as a former presidential residence.

The Aquino transition team, on the other hand, has not yet inspected the Goldenberg Mansion, also known as the big antique, during their tour of the Palace compound. (Genalyn Kabiling)
