“Diz Iz It” co-host Grace Lee lands in a rather compromising position after showbiz wags have started linking her name to Kris Aquino’s beleaguered husband, James Yap, who will soon be the subject of annulment proceedings supposedly when Aquino comes back from the United States.

The rumor linking Lee with Yap stemmed from a blind item that purported the two being spotted together at a salon.

In a report on “24 Oras,” Lee said she turned to Yap’s friend, her co-host Bayani Agbayani, to mediate by sending the cager a text message. “I asked for his help kasi nahihiya ako. Kasi with what he’s going through, I really think it’s unfair…And he is trying to fix his marriage, from what I heard,” she said point blank.

Asked to further clarify the matter, the busy Lee sent Bulletin Entertainment this text message: “ts (sic) a non issue, we wer (sic) never introduced. As I have said, we have never even exchanged hellos... We go to the same parlor, saw him there i thnk once or twice. Thats about t (sic).”

Admitting on “24 Oras” that she has cried to her boyfriend over the issue — having been affected and worried about the people being linked to her — Lee also refutes reports that she’d been going out with one of the politicians belonging to the “Spice Boys” group.

Although she refused to name the politico, she pointed out, “We’ve been friends for a couple of years and they are older than me, so they’re kind of like my kuya…”

She added, “They’re married, let’s leave them alone.”
