Watch TV shows & movies online
As more and more TV shows, movies, and original content become available online, it’s going to be increasing harder to find the programming you’re looking for. Clicker.com is a video search engine, which aims to index all of the movies, TV shows and other video content available online and arrange it by network, genre and show name.
Clicker catalogs all broadcast programming online, along with TV-quality Web originals, from these silos and delivers them in one seamless, organized experience so you can easily discover what's available to watch (and what isn't) online, where to watch it, and what's worth watching.
Clicker is one part directory, one part search engine, one part wiki, and one part entertainment guide. At the heart of it all is a massive database that looks like this: The site contains more than 650,000 episodes, from over 10,000 shows, from over 2,000 networks, 30,000 movies, and 80,000 music videos from 20,000 artists.
Every show and episode cataloged comes with a bunch of information to help you to decide what to watch. This includes pictures, descriptions, tags, categories, cast members, dates, related shows, programming notes (sometimes FYIs, sometimes warnings), ratings and more.
Clicker is trying to set itself apart by combining elements of a search engine, a digital video recorder and a forum that allows people to recommend shows to one another. Clicker also will evoke memories of an old-fashioned TV guide, with episode summaries that includes the year the video was made.
