A lone bettor from Luzon is now P109,721,419.20 richer after hitting the jackpot prize in the Super Lotto 6/49 draw last Thursday, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) said on Thursday.
Conrado “Dodie” Zabella, PCSO assistant general manager (AGM) for Online Lottery, said the winner, a 27-year-old utility worker, purchased his Lucky Pick lotto ticket – 45 48 14 46 18 16 – at the lotto station of Wilhelmina Pascual in Marikina City.
He and his wife are planning to build a house while the rest of the jackpot prize will be put in the bank in the meantime as they are not yet sure what to do with it, the PCSO official said.
Zabella said Super Lotto's July 29 draw also gave out P56,000 each to the 18 second prize winners, and P1,000 each to the 953 third prize winners.
The PCSO Online head said the winner from Marikina was accompanied by his wife when he claimed the jacpot prize at 10 a.m. on Friday at the PCSO headquarters on E. Rodriguez Ave., Quezon City.
