MANILA (PNA) — The legal counsel of the daughters of slain publicist Salvador "Bubby" Dacer said on Saturday that former Presidential Anti-Organized Crime Task Force (PAOCTF) Senior Supt. Cesar Mancao is one of the witnesses helping them prosecute the 10-year-old double-murder and kidnapping case filed against Senator Panfilo "Ping" Lacson.

Atty. Demetrio Custodio, Dacer family lawyer, stressed that the former police officer has given solid evidence which helped them link the senator to the crime.

Lacson and other rogue members of the PAOCTF were tagged by Mancao as the persons behind the abduction and killing of Dacer and his driver Emmanuel Corbito in November 2000.

He declined to mention or cite the testimonies provided by Mancao, adding that it will be announced soon in court.
