The public has witnessed Kris Aquino and James Yap’s so-called fairy tale gone wrong on which many air varied sentiments online with every development.

A recent report came out stating that Kris has included in her annulment petition the plea to strip Baby James of his father’s surname. Netizens, without hesitation, criticized Kris’ move via Twitter and Facebook.

A Twitter user, who sounds like disappointed Kris fan, posted: “sa lhat ng naging decision ni Kris, diyan ako hindi agree- ang palitan ang apelyido ni Bimby. Lumalabas lang ang pagkamaka- sarili niya talaga.”

“thats a bit greedy of kris wanting her son's last name to be changed to hers...why dont she change baby james' full name,” echoed another.

Another Twitter user called the actress a “dictator, media monster, and brat.”

There’s also one who reprimanded Kris in all caps: “GROW UP KRIS!! KA2SBI MO LNG S P. WIN N WIN NUNG NAG CONGRATS KA KAY JAMES "KAHIT ANONG GAWIN NATIN, TATAY PARIN NI BABY JAMES SI JAMES!"

On Facebook, meanwhile, a user mocked Kris as her latest decision adversely affects the legacy of her late mother and father, Cory and Ninoy Aquino.

SIGURO NAGING MABUTING TATAY NMAN YATA SYA. PEACE!!”

While there are those whose posts are full of spite, there are some who were calm. One even offered advice for the controversial TV host-actress.

“Kris..kaht n hwalay n kau n james yap..'wag m naman sna alisin ang krapatan n james n mkta ang anak nyo,dhl kh8 anong gawn m hnd p rin magbBgo ang ktotohanan n c james ang ama ng anak mo..at sna,magng magkaibgan p rin kau 4 bimbi,.wag m nMan paltan ang surname n bimbi..magsisilbng respeto m nlng yun pRa s pnagsmahan ninyo n james... ...”

In the midst of this hullabaloo, a Twitter user feels “sorry” for the couple.

“tsk tk tsk, I really feel sorry for James & Kris. I wonder if they sought the help of a marriage counselor cos in d US couples do that,” she wrote.
