Behind a cast of ex-PBA players and some of the former homegrown collegiate stars, the Niños claimed the No. 1 spot after the nine-leg elimination round tournament to establish themselves as the title favorites in this tournament organized by the Philippine Basketball League and Liga Pilipinas.

With a twice-to-beat advantage, the Cebuanos are favored to make short work of the Warriors in their 6 p.m. showdown although the squad of coach Yayoy Alcoseba should be wary of the fact that Gensan can make things interesting.
