Toshiba AC100 Netbook

Toshiba's much heralded AC100 Android-powered netbook is now out and available in the UK. The much awaited netbook is now officially out and will set you back for about $451 for the WiFi only version.

There will be two versions of the AC100 netbook, the WiFi and the 3G version. The latter is still under development which means you may have to make do with the WiFi version for now.

As far as the outed Toshiba AC100 WiFi version is concerned, you get a 10” display netbook that runs on Android 2.1.

It also comes with an NVIDIA dual-core Tegra 250 chip, 512MB of RAM, a 1.3-megapixel camera, Bluetooth 2.1 and HDMI output.

The 3G version or the 10U model is expected to carry the same specs only that it will have an HSPA modem and networking support of up to 2,100MHz.

It will come with a battery that is good for up to 8 hours of use and the whole netbook weighs about 1.9 pounds.
