SEREMBAN, Malaysia — The Philippines is poised to complete another grand sweep after sending three teams to the of the 19th ASEAN Veterans Invitational Basketball Tournament finals Wednesday .

The Filipino-Chinese Veterans Basketball Association (FCVBA) supported by Jimi Lim, Edward Tio and Rain or Shine co-team owner Terry Que, led the country's charge by advancing to the finals of the 40-years and 50-years-and-above divisions while the Filipino-Chinese Veterans Basketball League produced the biggest surprise by cruising to the championship round of the 60-years-and-above category of the annual tournament.

The FCVBA’s 50-years squad swept its two-game assignment in the semis, including a 66-61 win over FCVBL – thanks to the efforts of Lim Eng Beng and Kenneth Yap and Elmer Reyes and Tio.
